On December 15th, 2012 the UpBeat NYC Children's Orchestra performed in the First Annual NJ/NY El Sistema Showcase at El Museo del Barrio in Manhattan. This marks the second collaboration of local El Sistema-inspired projects in and around NYC, the first being the NYC Seminario at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music which took place earlier this week.
