Jovan Johnson

Jovan Johnson is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. He moved to New York in 2011 to study jazz performance at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music where he studied under jazz greats like Reggie Workman, Bobby Sanabria, and Jimmy Owens. He is currently a professional performer internationally and has been able to perform or record with artists such as Rihanna, Lauryn Hill, Lil Nas X, Macklemore, J.Cole, Hezekiah Walker, TLC, The Fugees, and more. Jovan believes in teaching modern applications of music and the tools necessary to be a working and successful professional musician today.
